Newsy News

So Greg and I moved into our "really new" apartment, since we only moved into what was our "new" apartment a few months ago. Repacking everything, putting it in storage for two weeks while we waited for our apartment to be ready, then unloading the storage into our new place, and re-unpacking it all was an experience I hope to forget. Hopefully this time we can actually stay for more than a year. Our last place was nice, but then they raised the rent from $620 (which was already at the upper end of our budget) to $640- totally not worth it. So we started looking around, and pretty soon we realized we were overpaying even at $620! So we now live in a place at least as nice, if not nicer than our old place, for $525- a $115 difference! We're sure glad to be able to save that money. And that we can potentially stay in this place for a few years. Phew!

School has started again full swing- I'm a senior, and so ready to be done, and Greg has picked a major- Wildland Conservation- and is doing full time at BYU in addition to half-time at the Provo Fire Academy starting second block. In addition to his recently acquired job changing oil at the BYU motorpool, he's going to get pretty busy!

For me it's the opposite- after the third week of October, the Magic Flute will be over, and my accelerated Italian class will be over, and I'll only have 7 credits for the second half of the term- yippee!!!

Tomorrow is Regional Conference- I'm excited to have the extra hour an a half to sleep in in the morning since church will be at 10 instead of 8:30. Some really great speakers are coming according to the rumors- President Packer, Julie B. Beck, and some others. I'm excited!
