Various Christmas photos
I love this one.
Me and dear William.
Greg feeding Eddie with Becky as the high chair.
We had fun opening presents and reading our new books!
More swinging!
The boys took a while getting Quintin ready to swing- they had been doing it at the same time and it was so cute!

I'm an aunt! Again!

My brother's wife Irene gave birth to an incredible 6 lb.13 oz. little boy last night. She did thirteen hours of labor without painkillers because she didn't want to prolong her labor and risk a C-section, which was a worry since she's so tiny. My brother Jordan was a huge part of the process and is a proud Papa I'm sure! We are beside ourselves to be able to meet this sublime Christmas miracle!

My I Spy quilt is done!!
Wow. I'm done- excuse me while I have a moment of catharsis. I love this poofy quilt/comforter SO MUCH! It's like and inch and a half thick- hard to sew, but so worth it!
When Eddie finally moves to a big boy bed once we have another baby, this will totally be his comforter.

Upcycling a blanket...
I made one of our baby blankets into a new sleep sack for Eddie, since his is too small now and the one I got to replace it with is WAY too big.
First, here's the blanket.
There's orange yarn sewn around the edges, which I took off.
Then I folded it hot dog style and placed the zipper...
Then I cut arm holes...
Then I sewed the zipper on, sewed the shoulder together, and the bottom together, and re-tied the yarn around the arm and neck holes...
And then I put a baby in it...
(He was very confused by the camera's flash.)
And very curious about what the shiny, flashing thing was, and came closer to investigate.
Ain't he the cutest?
And that's how I turned a blanket into a wearable blanket that he can't get stuck under or kick off for the cost of a $2 zipper.
TA DA!
